TFGBV Toolkit

Technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) refers to how technology is used to commit, amplify, or extend forms of violence against women and girls. TFGBV is an emerging issue across India, especially in urban centres with high rates of technology adoption.

This toolkit provides guidance on responding to technology-facilitated abuse including resources for frontline workers, trauma-informed approaches, and strategies for digital evidence collection. While this toolkit is beneficial for frontline workers across India, it includes specific recommendations for those working in major urban cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

This toolkit is available in Hindi and will be available in Marathi, Kannada, and Tamil in October 2026.
